Every other year, EWNJ sponsors its "Salute to the
Policy Makers Dinner". This event honors female
directors and officers of major corporations with
significant facilities in New Jersey.
The event has given some of the state's most
prominent organizations and their Chief Executive
Officers an opportunity to recognize the achievements
of women in their companies and on their board. The
dinner also raises funds for the Graduate Scholarship
program. During the event, EWNJ members attend a
private reception to meet the CEO's and the honorees.
The Salute Dinner honored 36 of the top women in
business, government, education and non-profits in
NJ. This biennial event, which in 2004 raised over
$139,000, raises scholarship money for NJ women
returning for advanced degrees. Since 1986, over
$600,000 has been given to more than 200 deserving
